Dremel encourages homeowners to install deck lighting

Wednesday, 30 March 2011 11:02 AM

Dremel has encouraged homeowners to change the look and feel of their garden deck space by offering a series of top tips to create atmospheric outdoor lighting.

If done properly, lit areas of decking or patio can create an ambience of chic style and sophistication, throwing pools of light in different directions for aesthetic effect.

By using a number of simple cut and shape techniques, made possible by Dremel’s multi-purpose tools, homeowners can ensure all the necessary wiring required by such displays is well hidden, as well as fitting a number of different size and strength lights into their existing garden design.

On top of this Dremel also provides the finishing tools to ensure a smooth sanded finished to any wood decking that has had to be altered during the light installation in the process.

All that is then required for the perfect night time barbeques or evening dinner party, is the compliance of the Great British summer weather.
