Dremel Unveils New Pyrography Tips

Friday, 16 September 2011 9:31 AM

Dremel has developed a new accessories set for its successful Versatip heat tool bringing a new art technique to crafters and hobbyists everywhere.

With four new pyrography tips being launched for the Dremel Versatip, hobbyists will be able to burn pattern stripes, shading and drawings into wood and leather.

Writing words or creating motifs and logos, as well as artistic efforts on wooden artwork and sculptures are all possible with Dremel Versatip.

The set includes four tips with different shapes: ball point, oval, sharp point and pattern. They are suitable for use on chipboard, softwood, hardwood and leather.

The cordless Dremel Versatip already comes as a six-in-one tool. It's perfect for detailed and intricate heat embossing, hot fix stone decoration, soldering, melting, shrinking and hot cutting.

It is the only butane gas-powered heat tool that combines all these applications in one tool thanks to the six interchangeable tips included in the standard pack. With variable temperature setting, quick heat up and fast recharge, within ten seconds, it's always ready to use, and is priced £34.71.
