B&Q launch new antibacterial wallpaper

Wednesday, 16 March 2011 5:13 PM

B&Q have announced the launch of a new range of Contour Antibacterial kitchen and bathroom wallpapers.

Combining a sharp aesthetic look with the functionality of a strong anti-bacterial feature, the new products are specifically designed to meet the needs of the modern home.

The Contour Antibacterial range of splash proof, durable wallpapers aim to provide protection against germs such as MRSA, E.coli, Listeria and Salmonella. This is achieved by adding a coating to the surface of the paper that harnesses the power of silver; a safe, natural antimicrobial.

Cleaner, safer and more hygienic to use than other wallpapers, this range is ideal for rooms exposed to damp or a humid environment, and offers a cheaper alternative to tiles in the kitchen or bathroom.

All Contour Antibacterial wallpapers are available in a range of styles and colours and can be found exclusively in B&Q stores priced £14.98 each.
